Tea for Washi Swap

Hi guys!

I participated in a tea for washi swap that Scissorspaperstoned was featuring on Instagram.

Basically, she was giving 1 washi sample (18 inches long) for 1 tea bag. I sent her 15 tea bags in the end! Funny story - I had to send one tea bag separately because I forgot to include it in the main package *sigh*.

This is what the tea package looked like! The stickers used are all from Stickii Club packs, the tiger cut-out is from a nature encyclopedia which I fussy cut myself and, lastly, the music sheets were found by ourselves in a charity shop near us.

The video above shows you the whole process of me making this envelope!

Some of the teas I sent were not factory wrapped, so I took some sandwich bags, cut them up and then added some washi tape to close them.

As I said earlier, I sent 15 tea bags and they were: mint, green tea, Rooibosch tea (a German tea, caffeine free), detox tea (aniseed, fennel and cardamom infusion), manuka, lemon, night time tea (organic oat flower, lavender and lime flower) and mountain honeybush tea. I sent 2 of each (I think I sent 3 of the green tea though!).

We hope you enjoyed the read and if you fancy doing some swaps, please let us know!

Keep crafting x
