Hi guys!
Unlike my other flipbooks where I haven't decorated the front cover of them, I decided to give it a go on this one. I used the bird stickers from Stickii Clubs Up, Up and Away cute pack and the large flower was a cut out from a gift bag.
The "hi" and the hearts were written/drawn using the Callicreative duotip pens.
I then stuck the front cover and the back cover together using a washi tape sample I received from one of my wonderful penpals. These papers came from the 6x6-inch watercolour paper pad from Hobbycraft.
The rest of the pages in this book are made using different papers from The Little Book of Special Days paper pad by Hunkydory.
So, on the back of the 'engagement ring' paper, I used another cut-out from the same gift bag and then wrote my letter on this page.
I then used another watercolour paper to make some handmade embellishments for her. This 'simple' sticker is from Paperlane Boutique on Etsy.
I then cut out a cloud shape behind it which Ivon can then use on her own creations!
I found some scrap card and wrote out 'handmade embellishments' and 'for you' on two separate pieces.
A few weeks ago we made these watercolour background papers (click here to see how we did it), so I wanted to include one of them in this creation, so I chose this one.
I cut neatly around my words and then glued them both to the paper. I used scissors to cut a rough, round shape around them.
For the inside decoration of the front and back cover, I used more cut-outs from the gift bag and used another golden washi tape sample from the same lovely penpal to stick down Ivon's embellishments. I then used a really cute paperclip (you can't see the cuteness on this side, unfortunately) to clip in my little handmade 'sign'.
On the right-hand side, I used the same gold washi tape to stick down some mail tags that she can easily remove and use for whatever she likes.
I chose this page from the Little Book of Special Days as well.
I decorated the back with Paperlane Boutique stickers, a gift bag cut out and floral stickers from Stickii Club's Natural History Retro Pack. What I didn't take a picture of is what I wrote on this page (it was a "10 facts about me" list).
During the process of me making this book, I received some happy mail which included this gorgeous floral washi! As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted it to be in this flipbook.
Again, I got this paper from the Little Book of Special Days.
I wanted to make a pocket out of this one. I used the handmade watercolour paper and stuck Stickii Club's bird stickers on it to tie in with the front of the book. I then added another gift bag cut-out and the washi tape you saw earlier.
I filled the pocket with: a gift bag cut-out, Stickii Club's bird stickers, Stickii Club's owl stickers (from the same Up, Up and Away pack), a few stickers from the I Love Bread Stickii Club pack, watercolour paper sample, stickers from Paperchase and some papers/sticky notes.
You know by now where this paper came from!
On this one, I made some washi tape samples and stuck them down using the washi tape that you saw earlier on in this post.
Unfortunately, I only know where I bought the skyline washi tape, which was in a pack of 4 I believe from Hobbycraft.
For the envelope, I used a plain white 7x7-inch one and decorated it using the bird stickers you've seen already and the washi you've seen previously.
On the back, I used Stickii Club's Up, Up and Away pack of stickers again and my little address labels that I add to every envelope.
Finally, to show you the finished product, I wanted to make a little flipthrough video!

Today, I have another penpal flipbook for you which was shipped to America a little while ago.
