Hi guys!
We purchased Della by Design's scrapbooking kit a little while ago (and completed it a little while ago) and we're FINALLY getting the blog post up!
If you've read our other recent blog posts, then you'll know we're in the process of setting up our YouTube channel, this is still very much happening but this project was completed a while ago and so we wanted it up on here before we start our channel (and we're waiting for some more stuff to come before we film our first video).
This whole kit is very straightforward and self-explanatory, but I'm going to run through the process with you here anyway.
So, first off, I coloured in the patterned circles and butterfly. I picked one red and one green pencil and then got to work. These elements are printed on cardstock that is kind of coloured anyway so you could get away with not colouring them in at all I guess.
I then stuck the stripey bit of card to the bottom of the green background and added the patterned circles, along with the block colour ones. I alternated between using normal glue and the foam pads to attach them. The instructions then tell you to add on the buttons, which of course I did, and I think the overall effect of this is really nice.
I then glued down my chosen picture onto the red backing card and decided where I wanted it to go on the green sheet. Once I was happy with the placement, I stuck it down using a glue stick.
Next, I took the red letter squares out of their bag and began cutting down foam pads to put on the back of them. I ended up placing these in the bottom right corner of the green sheet.
Lastly, I stuck some cut up foam pads on the back of the butterfly and attached it to the edge of the picture.
There you go! After all this, you have your finished memory panel! I have hung mine by my perfume stand and I love it.
Thank you for reading along with us!
Keep crafting x
