Super Craft Haul

Hi guys!

Over the past few weeks we've acquired quite a few crafty bits and so, instead of splitting them all up into separate shop hauls, we figured we'd put them all together and do a SUPER craft haul!

Let's just jump right into it!

The first thing we found was in a shop called Thing-Me-Bobs which has the variety of a Poundland. It's very cheap and this Finding Dory sticker set was only £1.75.

Again from Thing-Me-Bobs we found this wooden organiser that has 9 compartments for holding jewellery, craft supplies or anything else really! I'm planning on finding someone to do an embellishment box swap with me so I can use this!

These are little change bags but I'm going to use them to hold goodies on my vintage flipbooks and other mails.

These butterfly tags were only 59p (as you can see) and I can't wait to use these on my mail.

Again, more tags!

Thing-Me-Bobs were having a buy one get one free deal on these stickers (and loads of others, the rack was big!) so I decided to go with the colourful alphas and gorgeous little owls.

Now, these glue sticks aren't the best (I mean, you get what you pay for I guess - 99p for 4) but they work well enough for what I wanted to use them for.

I couldn't resist these gorgeous marble sticky notes! A lot of these will be sent to my penpals, so hopefully they will enjoy them as well!

I believe this is the last item from Thing-Me-Bobs, which I found near the tags and I'm hoping to use some of this in my embellishment box.

And so on to the charity shop items!

You've probably already gathered, if you've been reading our blog for a little while, that we love shopping in charity shops for vintage-looking books, postcards and any other bits we find along the way.

I've already made a small sticker flake envelope out of a page from this book and I love how it turned out!

This flower book will be beautifully destroyed by the time I'm done cutting out all the lovely flowers! Oops!

We picked up these postcards for 10p each. Most of them seen here are quite old and have a nature/architecture theme.

I'm super excited about this one! It has images of documents and tickets from the time of the Titanic which I will be using for my vintage mailing.

A recent outgoing envelope of mine was made using a page in this book. I feel rather bad about ripping some out as it is so old but, equally, they really do make great additions to my crafting!

I will be doing a superhero-themed mail at some point - hopefully soon - so this will be cut and used for that, along with some comics that you will have seen in another haul post.

This one has gorgeous interactive pages that I want to cut out and use!

I've been doing a bunch of cutting from this book and it is now in tatters having had all it's pages and images cut out of it!

These napkins were bought from the shop at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, and will be used on vintage mail to give them extra texture. I know a few of my penpals would like this theme!

This papyrus (on the right) and the beautiful floral prints paper were also purchased from the Fitzwilliam Museum, and I'm so excited to try using the papyrus in my projects. Again, I think it will be great for my vintage stuff.

These gift tags are from Tiger (The Flying Tiger) and go with a gift bag I have for my boyfriend's sister's birthday.

This sticky note books have different styles of stickies on each page and are great for note taking. At the moment, I've been using them to mark my different Ebay piles of stuff that I'm trying to sell (mainly my old textbooks from school).

Also from Tiger, are these cute, 3D heart gems of all different colours. I think my favourites might be the green and the purple. I will be using these on my flipbooks for adding bling!

I've been wanting to get some really strong glue that dries clear and has a thin tip and this one was perfect! I found it in Hobbycraft and it wasn't expensive at all!

WATERCOLOURS! I've been wanting my own watercolour set (mum has loads from when she was at art school) for ages and so this one is a great starter set and each layer has different colour schemes in it. It's also from Tiger, by the way.

My little ephemera heart is crying extremely happy tears. I love all of Tim Holtz's stuff but this is the first item of his I have purchased and I love it so much. The Hobbycraft near me has an entire section dedicated to Tim Holtz and I'm in love with it.

The permanent tape pen I had before could not handle the heat! My room had become too hot in the unexpectedly warm summer temperatures that the UK experienced this year, and so the tape had melted onto the gears of the mouse and unfortunately, it broke. So, I bought this one which was about £7 (£3 more expensive than my last one) and, so far, it's excellent! I can also refill this one, which is a huge plus point.

The first rubber stamps I've purchased are these alphas from Tiger! I've used them already for a flipbook and envelope that is on its way to the USA as I type!

The first clear stamps I've ever bought! Next time I go to Hobbycraft I'll be purchasing the two pack acrylic block so I can use these soon!

All from EcoCraft - tape, clear bags and envelopes. All of this is biodegradable and can be put in the recycling!

Why did we buy packaging you ask? Well, you'll find out soon and we're very excited about it!

From Tindalls in Ely, I purchased this wolf die which I haven't tried out yet but will hopefully do that today or tomorrow.

My boyfriend and I went to the Waterside Antique Centre in Ely and I found this old Charlie Brown book which I will be using for lovely vintage book pages.

I also found this ephemera! It's an out-of-work donation policy slip book (as you can see) and some of the pages are handwritten which is fab!

From the same place, I acquired this huge bundle of postcards which I've been using for Postcrossing.

Lastly, in a box of ephemera, there was this old French dictionary which I'm excited to use in my penpall letters.

We hope you've enjoyed reading this post and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to comment!

Keep crafting x
