Hi guys!
I know Father's Day has been and gone, but we wanted to share with you what we made as a gift for my (Zakiya's) dad.
I decided I wanted to create a DAD sign with découpaged mache letters - so here goes nothing!
To découpage, you start off by cutting (or ripping) the paper into little sections. Then, you use a brush to apply glue to the piece and stick the bits of paper on to it one by one, going over each bit with the glue once it's stuck down.
This is what it looked like straight after being glued (it's not dry in this picture).
I then did the A and the other D and left them all to dry.
This is the final result! I was extremely happy with the results and more importantly, so was my dad!
Keep crafting x
